Billy Burke Do admire and appreciate you taking pictures and attending this event. You have a good composition but I would have felt if you could see the expressions on each face. You might have had to not show all the wheel chair but that is my feelings 7
Alex Lane Touching image - good color and composition - the only thing I would have changed is the people in the upper right - they are I bit distracting and I would remove them. Alex (8)

Subhash Sapru Such images of helping the differently enabled people generate emotional impact. With smile on the faces of all three, the image reflects emotions and is well timed-8

John Larson - Biography

Welcome to the second PJ digital study group, and I am looking forward to an educational and fun experience. Just a little bit in the way of a biography and about some of my interests.
I am almost 62 years young, a retired engineer now teaching math and married to Ruth. For thirty-eight years I worked as an engineer with both General Electric and Marathon Electric. During that time my responsibilities included managing all of the engineering computer efforts, primarily CAD and CAM. I also had the opportunity to use the computer (IBM compatible) for many reports and presentations related to work. At my college we are using several multimedia programs and the internet to deliver Online Courses.
I am now in my fifth generation of a home PC, starting with a Radio Shack Color Computer (just a couple of years ago, ha ha) and now with a clone Pentium IV. My first digital adventures were by having slides scanned to CDs, then a Canon D-30, followed by a Digital Rebel (just replaced by Canon 20D) and for my ski jacket a Canon S-50. Some of my other hobbies are photography, started with some classes in 1991, joined PSA in 1994 and sports of several varieties, especially skiing in winter. This combination gives me an excellent chance to blend for example skiing and photography and now computers and photography.
I exhibit in PSA exhibitions and have three stars in Color, three stars in PJ and one star in electronic imaging. I am a member of the PJ Slide Study group chaired by June Stone. I am the administrator for a printer-based version of Digital Imaging under the Print Division and have been a member of that group for about five years. I am anxious to get started in this PJ Digital Study group as that will reduce the need for me to make slides at some time. You may note on my web site that I do have the ability to convert digital files to slides and that is available to you if needed.
I look forward to reviewing all of your work and look forward to your comments. Please visit my web site listed below for more about me and more of my images. Thanks for joining me in this group.
